We invite applications from experienced Mathematics teachers to assist with the leadership of our department.
The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:
- proven classroom management skills and ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all akonga.
- a commitment to the progress of all ākonga
- Provide professional leadership, with the skills to motivate and enhance the performance of kaiako.
- ability to work collaboratively to raise student achievement
- will whakamana the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and ensure te reo me ōna Tikanga is upheld
- be adaptable with a willingness to explore differentiated teaching and learning approaches
- Commitment to relational pedagogy and restorative practices
- experience in and the ability to lead Senior Statistics courses and or experience in the new NCEA Level 1 standards preferred.
