HOD Soft Materials Technology (2MU)
Full Time, Start date: Term 3, 2026 or by negotiation
We are seeking a well organised, innovative and inspiring leader of Soft Materials Technology. The successful candidate will be able to raise student achievement with a focus on student wellbeing and positive learning relationships.
Applicants should have a current New Zealand teacher registration and a working knowledge of the New Zealand curriculum. The successful candidate will have:
- a genuine passion for teaching and a clear understanding of NCEA
- experience in differentiated teaching at the junior and senior levels
- ability to be a team player who will work collaboratively to raise student achievement
- knowledge of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and ensure te reo me ōna Tikanga are upheld
- relational practices to tautoko positive relationships within our kura
A commitment to mana ōrite mō te mātauranga māori, and cultural responsiveness is also essential.
