The Senior Student Community Committee Group

The Senior Community Committee at Rosehill College is dedicated to driving positive change by supporting both local and global causes. Through initiatives like Pink Shirt Day, the CanTeen Colour Run, and the World Vision 40-Hour Challenge, this group works tirelessly to make a meaningful impact.

Our senior students are committed to fighting bullying, raising funds for cancer research, and supporting efforts to address climate change. By joining this group, you can be part of something that truly makes a difference.

Interact Club

The Interact Club is a mixed year level group for all students to join. They are dedicated to fundraising for charities and supporting global and local causes. Throughout the year, they organise exciting events like Valentine’s Day fundraisers, Easter chocolate sales, and the Mother’s Day bake sale, raising money for important causes such as Women’s Refuge, Foster Hope, and Breast Cancer Research.

The club strengthens community connections by engaging with the Rotary Club. If you enjoy fundraising, teamwork, and giving back to the community, the Interact Club is the perfect place for you!‍

Student Council

The Student Council is a mixed year level group that plays an important role in bringing the Rosehill College community together. In 2024, they hosted the first-ever Rosehill College Community Gala, a successful event that united students, families, and the Papakura community. From organising events to representing your voice in school decisions, the Student Council has a major role in shaping school culture and organising key events within our school.

Rosehill College Yearly Christmas Hamper Project

In 2024, the Community Committee has made an incredible impact with the Christmas Hamper Project, expanding its efforts to support not only Rosehill College families but also those in nearby schools. After last year’s heartwarming success, the team, led by Business Manager Ms Carolissen, has worked tirelessly to broaden the scope of this initiative. For the first time, hampers are being shared with Papakura High School and Tangaroa College, ensuring even more families in need are supported.

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Life Church and the kindness of our staff, students, and families, we have already raised $3600, allowing us to provide 105 hampers for families facing hardships this Christmas. We are overwhelmed by the community’s outpouring support. It is truly inspiring, and we are grateful for every donation that makes this project possible.
