Science Teacher 2026
Start date: beginning of Term 1 2026
We seek a collaborative, passionate and enthusiastic teacher of Science to join our Science faculty.
Applicants should have a current New Zealand teacher registration, a current work permit or equivalent and a working knowledge of the New Zealand curriculum.
The successful candidate will have:
- the ability to teach senior Chemistry and/or Physics
- a genuine passion for teaching and a clear understanding of NCEA
- experience in differentiated teaching at the junior and senior levels
- ability to be a team player who will work collaboratively to raise student achievement
- knowledge of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and ensure te reo me ōna Tikanga are upheld
- relational practices to tautoko positive relationships within our kura
A commitment to mana ōrite mō te mātauranga māori, and cultural responsiveness is also essential.
