Rosehill College is seeking a compassionate and flexible teacher to join our Learning Support team. This role supports students who face learning challenges and benefit from a relationship-based, scaffolded approach.

This role suits a teacher with experience in the primary sector or someone familiar with Phases 2 and 3 of Te Mātaiaho (Curriculum Refresh), in particular explicit teaching of reading, writing, and oral language, foundational numeracy development, number knowledge, and mathematical thinking and breaking learning into manageable, sequential steps.

You will join a supportive team committed to creating a learning space based on care, reciprocity, and student empowerment.

We’re looking for a teacher who:

• Builds strong, respectful relationships with students and whānau
• Understands the needs of neurodiverse and at-risk learners
• Has experience teaching foundation-level literacy, numeracy, and life skills
• Uses inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive practice
• Works collaboratively and adapts teaching to meet individual needs
