AUT LIVE 2023 – OPEN DAY – 26th AUGUST

AUT’s annual open day is being held on Saturday 26th August 2023. It’s a dynamic and exciting event where anyone is welcome to join them on campus and get a taste of what life at university is all about, check out their world-class facilities and learn about their innovative programmes. AUT LIVE is a fantastic opportunity to hear from their talented academics, take some tours and discover future study possibilities. Watch a quick highlights video of AUT LIVE 2022 to see the action.

All potential future students (from school leavers to postgraduate students) are invited to explore their options. Friends and family who would like to know more about AUT so they can support someone with their university decisions are also welcome. You never know, you might discover something you’d like to study yourself! You can register now for AUT LIVE or you can register on the day itself. Events are being run at all 3 campuses:

  • AUT City Campus 55 Wellesley Street in central Auckland
  • North Campus(90 Akoranga Drive)
  • South Campus(640 Great South Road) by using the free shuttle bus service from the City Campus during AUT LIVE

There is free parking at AUT North Campus and AUT South Campus and you can use the free shuttle buses to get into the city. Parking is limited at our North and South Campuses, so get in early to secure your car park. Other transportation options include taking Auckland public transport or paid car parking in the city.

Programme information sessions  –  Each faculty will be hosting programme information sessions for their specific study areas. The sessions generally last 45 minutes with the first sessions at 9am and the last sessions at 2pm. AUT LIVE will stay open until 3.30pm.

Showcases  –  Each faculty will also have showcases that run throughout the day. These cover everything taught at AUT from law through to health sciences. Showcases also include aspects of student life so you can explore their services first-hand. The team is there to answer any queries from what wellbeing support they offer to how they can help the students plan their future pathways. You’ll be able to see where your child may spend their time at university, for example, at the library, the gym, or their choice of student accommodation.

After you’ve registered to attend AUT LIVE, you’ll receive a link to access the AUT LIVE app, which can help you plan and customise your experience on the day. The app features all the event information, including campus maps and a digital day planner to plan your event schedule. It also makes it faster for you to register when you arrive, and it offers opportunities to enter competitions to win prizes.

There will be a variety of food and beverage choices available at the City Campus – from coffee shops to food trucks. Water bottle refill stations will be available, and you’re welcome to bring your food and drinks with you.
