We invite English teachers to join our kura. The successful candidate will have a commitment to the progress of all ākonga, will work collaboratively to raise student achievement, will whakamana the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and ensure te reo me ōna Tikanga are upheld. Experience with senior English is an advantage.
Applicants should have a current New Zealand teacher registration and a working knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum.
The successful candidate will have:
- A genuine passion for teaching and a clear understanding of NCEA
- Experience in differentiated teaching at the junior and senior levels
- Ability to be a team player who will work collaboratively to raise student achievement
- Knowledge of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and ensure te reo me ōna Tikanga are upheld
- Relational practices to tautoko positive relationships within our kura.
